Call for papers

The call, as published

Reproduced verbatim from the organisers’ announcement. The conference’s own page is at confest-2026.github.io/workshops/yr-concur/.

We are pleased to announce the call for presentations for YR-CONCUR 2026, the Young Researchers Workshop associated with CONCUR 2026.

The aim of the Young Researchers CONCUR workshop is to provide a platform for PhD students and other young researchers to share new results related to concurrency theory and to receive feedback on their research.

The target audience is PhD students. Submissions from postdocs, masters students, and other early career researchers are also welcome.

YR-CONCUR 2026 is a part of CONFEST 2026, which co-locates the 2026 editions of CONCUR, QEST+FORMATS, FMICS, and a number of workshops, and takes place 1-5 September 2026 at the University of Liverpool, UK.

Submissions:
We welcome abstracts of work in progress, up to 2 pages long (excluding references), or short abstracts and links to work published elsewhere. Submissions will be assessed on the expected interest and the quality of the presentation. The accepted abstracts will be made available at the workshop, but no formal proceedings are planned.

Important dates:
	• Submissions: 22 June 2026 (AoE)
	• Notification: 15 July 2026
	• Workshop: 5 September 2026

Data entirely hand-typed, one call for papers at a time. There is no scraper behind any of this: I read the announcement and type the dates in, in the gaps between other work, and with the hope it is useful to others. Organisers then move deadlines without telling anyone, calls get edited in place, and now and then the typing is simply wrong. Treat this as a well-meaning notebook rather than an authority, and check the conference’s own page before you submit anything you care about.
