Call for papers

The call, as published

Reproduced verbatim from the organisers’ announcement. The conference’s own page is at 2026.rtas.org/.

Dear colleagues,

The 32nd IEEE *Real-Time and Embedded Technology and Applications Symposium* (RTAS 2026) will be held in Saint Malo, France, on May 12–14, 2026, as part of CPS-IoT Week.

RTAS is a premier forum for presenting innovations in systems with timing requirements. We welcome contributions that advance the state of the art in the design, implementation, validation, verification, and evolution of such systems.

Track 1: Systems and Applications
Focus on empirical work, case studies, runtime software, operating systems, middleware, hardware architectures, CPS/IoT infrastructure, networks, profiling, WCET analysis, compilers, and benchmarks.
Track 2: Applied Methodologies and Foundations
Focus on models, scheduling, system-level optimization, design space exploration, and verification/validation methods with motivating examples grounded in real systems.

Submissions must explicitly address at least one of the following:
1. Timing requirements (hard/soft real-time, probabilistic, QoS, throughput, latency, etc.).
2. Improvements or innovations that support predictable, dependable, and efficient systems with timing requirements.

Data entirely hand-typed, one call for papers at a time. There is no scraper behind any of this: I read the announcement and type the dates in, in the gaps between other work, and with the hope it is useful to others. Organisers then move deadlines without telling anyone, calls get edited in place, and now and then the typing is simply wrong. Treat this as a well-meaning notebook rather than an authority, and check the conference’s own page before you submit anything you care about.
