The conference aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia, industry and government, to advance the state of the art in formal methods, to facilitate their uptake in the software industry, and to encourage their integration within practical software engineering methods and tools. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, SEFM 2021 will be organised as a virtual event. Authors are invited to submit full papers (up to 15 pages + references) describing original and unpublished research results, case studies or surveys; and short tool papers (up to 6 pages). Regular papers should not exceed 15 pages, excluding bibliography. Two more pages containing only references are permitted. * Tool papers that describe an operational tool and its contributions. Tool papers should not exceed 6 pages (including bibliography) and should include the URL of the tool. All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not submitted concurrently for publication elsewhere.
