************************************************************** CALL FOR PAPERS The 20th European Performance Engineering Workshop (EPEW 2024) Venice – June 14, 2024 ************************************************************** EPEW is an international workshop for academic and industrial researchers from diverse fields with a common interest in performance modelling, analysis and the design of stochastic systems. This year EPEW (https://epew-workshop.github.io) is co-located with ACM Sigmetrics / IFIP Performance. The workshop features post-proceedings this year with a two-phase review process. We solicit short papers of at most 7 pages for presentation at the conference, which will not be published. Authors of accepted short papers are then invited to submit a full paper with at most 15 pages for publication In the post-proceedings. The post-proceedings of EPEW 2024 will be published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) Series by Springer and indexed by Scopus and WOS. IMPORTANT DATES Paper Submission deadline: April 7th, 2024 Notification of Acceptance: May 10th, 2024 Deadline for post-proceedings: July 31st, 2024 Acceptance notification for post-proceedings: September 30, 2024 INSTRUCTIONS FOR PAPER SUBMISSION EPEW 2024 seeks workshop presentations, submitted in the form of 7-page short research papers in Springer LNCS format. Authors of accepted short papers will be invited to submit an extended version of the short paper for publication in the post-proceedings. The page limit of an article in the post-proceedings is 15 pages in Springer LNCS format. All page limits include tables, figures, and references. All submitted papers will be reviewed based on technical quality, relevance, significance, and clarity by the program committee. All papers should be submitted electronically in PDF format through the EasyChair workshop website. Submissions must follow the Springer LNCS proceedings format. BEST PRESENTATION AWARD The EPEW 2024 committee will select the best paper presentation at the conference for which a certificate will be presented at the end of the conference. Note that the selection is based on content, as well as presentation.
